<p>A day after the Nashville Predators <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/news/report-juuse-saros-predators-close-to-signing-eight-year-extension">locked up Juuse Saros</a> to an eight-year contract extension, one of their top prospects has hit <em>Daily Faceoff&#8217;s</em> Frank Seravalli&#8217;s <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/news/preds-askarov-and-devils-marino-holtz-join-trade-targets-on-nhl-draft-day">Trade Targets list</a>.</p>
<p>And it&#8217;s goaltender Yaroslav Askarov, the player they selected 11th overall in the 2020 draft.</p>
<p>The Predators are believed to have shopped Askarov as the draft last year in trade talks, but instead held onto him as he spent a second season in the American Hockey League. There, he&#8217;s played in 92 games, posting a 56-29-6 record, a .911 save percentage and a 2.55 goals against average.</p>
<p>Now, he could be on his way to another team.</p>
